Vmware и ARM - Raspberry
Vmware on rasзberry PI Correct, you would only be able to run Arm VMs, not x86 VMs. That said, the software ecosystem for 64-bit Arm is stable and mature now, with commercial Linux support from Canonical, Red Hat and SUSE (and a beta from Oracle). (and of course, there is Debian, Fedora, etc). The Arm software ecosystem is very much a Linux one. https://www.reddit.com/user/vmw-andreiw VMware vSphere ESXi on Raspberry Pi ARM Processors VMware has released more and more information about running VMware vSphere ESXi hypervisor on the ARM processor platform. First disclosing this officially at VMWorld 2018 in Las Vegas, during one of the keynotes this week at VMWorld 2018 Barcelona, VMware’s CTO, Ray O’Farrell handed VMware CEO, Pat Gelsinger a Raspberry Pi device and said the Raspberry Pi device was running ESXi! https://www.virtualizationhowto.com/2018/11/vmware-vsphere-esxi-on-raspberry-pi-arm-processors/ Introducing Project Dimension Project Dimension will extend VMware Cloud to deliver SDDC infrastructure and hardware as-a-service to on-premises locations. Because this is will be a service, it means that VMware can take care of managing the infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and performing patching and maintenance. This in turn means customers can focus on differentiating their business building innovative applications rather than spending time on day-to-day infrastructure management. https://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2018/08/introducing-project-dimension.html
